Flutterby, Summer

The autumnal equinox has past and the last wistful breaths of summer have sighed into fall.  Here is a photo of one of my gardens in the back yard sporting 3 large Sedum plants.   These succulents grow all summer, providing green buds which turn beautiful shades of pink then deep oranges in late September, marking another joyous time,  my daughter’s birthday.  Both events make me smile.

Here’s to fall. To orange and red and yellow leaves quaking and shimmering in cooler breezes. To pumpkins and seeing our breath for the first time one cold morning.  To stews in the crockpot and football on Sunday afternoons.

Ready for the shift to something different.

I’ve finished stitching the bead collage from a recent post and hope to have the back / sides completed this week sometime. Pictures to come soon.

What’s new with you?
